The development is not in keeping with the well-established,
quiet, local area and does not consider the significant impact on
its neighbours in Deena Close.
Residents' outlook in Masons road will become unacceptably closed
in with buildings of such height. They are over-bearing and will
create an unacceptable loss of privacy to surrounding properties.
The impact on outlook will also directly affect residents'
enjoyment of their properties. There will be significant impact on
light and noise levels.
There has been a bat survey undertaken which found a presence of bats in the area but it was not undertaken at the suggested optimal time of year to detect their roosts. There was no mention of slow worms in the environmental survey which have been seen around the area. More investigation should be undertaken to satisfy the exclusion of both before any development takes place.
