Decision

Roof extension to construct a fourth and fifth floor to accommodate 45no. self-contained flats (22no. 1-bedroom and 23no. 2-bedroom flats),with associated parking and refuse/recycling storage.

Delegated to the Planning Manager for approval subject to:

 

(i)  The satisfactory completion of a Section 106 Agreement to secure habitat and infrastructure mitigation contributions, a viability review mechanism and highway works.

 

(ii)  Confirmation of satisfactory completion of a Stage 1 Road Safety Audit.

 

(iii)  Confirmation of no objections in respect of fire safety measures from Health and Safety Executive, in consultation with the Chair of the Planning Committee to determine if any design changes that may take place to address the issues result in material changes to the scheme that required the application coming back to Committee for redetermination.

 

(iv)  Finalising conditions and any other minor changes;

 

Or to refuse the application if the completion of the Section 106 Agreement was not finalised by 30 June 2023 unless a longer period is agreed by the Planning Manager in consultation with the Chair of the Planning Committee.
