The People Scrutiny Panel was appointed by Council. The Panel has nine Members and is responsible for the scrutiny of functions falling within

the following areas:

•School Standards and Effectiveness

•School Services (Admissions and Appeals)

•Inclusion (SEND, Speech and Language)

•Early Help (Attendance, SENDIASS, Targeted Young People Services, Family Services)

•Early Years & Children’s Centres

•Music Services

•Public Health

•Mental Health

•Integration

•Safeguarding

•Adult Social Care Operations

•People Strategy & Commissioning
