The Sub-Committee considered an appeal against the refusal by officers of application for home to school transport. The circumstances of the case did not fulfil the necessary criteria for assistance. For the appeal, details were presented by the local authority representative of the reasons for refusal, together with the grounds of appeal submitted by the parent of the pupil in question. The Appeals Sub-Committee also considered verbal representations made by the Appellant at the hearing. The Appeal was considered under the general home to school transport policy.
