The Place Scrutiny Panel was appointed by Council. The Panel has nine Members and is responsible for the scrutiny of functions falling within

the following areas:

•Environmental Services

•Asset Management

•Place Strategy (Development, Planning Policy and Economic Development)

•Infrastructure (Networks, Highways and Transport Planning)

•Housing Regulation

•Planning

•Public Protection (Food & Safety, Trading Standards & Licensing, Community Safety)
