The Sub-Committee considered an appeal against the refusal by officers of  an application for home to school transport. The circumstance of the case did not fulfil the necessary criteria for assistance. Details were presented by the local authority representative of the reasons for refusal, together with the grounds of appeal submitted by the parent of the pupil in question. The Appeals Sub-Committee also considered verbal representation made by the Appellant at the hearing. The Appeal was considered under the general Home to School Transport Policy and the Transport Policy for Sixth Form Age.
