In accordance with Council Procedure Rules,
Part 4.1, Paragraph 1.2 (vi) (Casual Vacancies), a vacancy has
arisen on the Planning Committee following the resignation of
Councillor Hulme from the committee.
The Labour Group has nominated Councillor Pavitar Kaur Mann to fill
the vacant seat.
That Councillor Pavitar Kaur Mann be appointed
to the Planning Committee with effect from 25th May 2023.
In accordance with the rules of political
proportionality the Labour Group is entitled to the vacant seat and
it is a matter for the Labour Group Leader to nominate a member of
their group.
